The ECO Bank delegation headed by Mr. Murat Ulus (President) have visited the IDB Headquarters in Jeddah and members of the IDB Group namely International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) and Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) during 1-3 August 2009. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss the ways to launch a salient working cooperation with the IDB Group. During the meeting with H.E. Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, President of the IDB Group, a common understanding of establishing mutually beneficial partnership was attained. The ECO Bank and the IDB Group will share information on joint operation opportunities and harness resources in promoting the economic and social development of the states of common membership. This partnership is expected to bring new opportunities in delivery of trade finance services and co-finance/joint investment operations.
