The Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the ECO Bank was held on July 9, 2009 in İstanbul with the participation of the distinguished governors and the directors of the three member countries.
In the meeting, the Board of Governors discussed the recent activities of the Bank and exchanged their point of views about the prospective functions of the Bank which would be beneficial for the developing economies of the ECO region.
In accordance with the Agenda of the Meeting, the Board of Governors reviewed the 2008 External Audit Report and approved the Balance Sheet and Profit – Loss Statement of 2008.
The Board designated the Governor for Turkey, Mr. İbrahim Çanakcı as the Chairman of the Board for one year and decided to hold the 2010 Annual Board of Governors Meeting in the second week of July 2010, in Turkey
